1. As members of the Crusaders of Excalibur, we must all show respect to one another. All players on Battle.net, Ultima Online, or any other guild game are to be regarded and treated with politeness. Even if someone shows disrespect towards you or our guild ,we must not stoop to their level, for we are Knights and are of a higher caliber than that. In the same way, we must treat everyone equally.
2. Rude behavior or abrasive language will not be tolerated in our channel, nor by our members in any other channel. The Crusaders of Excalibur must uphold integrity for themselves and our fellow members. This means no swearing, arguing, insulting one another, finger pointing, etc. We are all Knights, and that is no way to act in front of anyone.
3. Being a guild with ranks, one must acknowledge authority figures and show proper respect to those of higher rank than you. If anybody is having a problem with one of the Lords or another higher ranking member, then informing another Lord of your problem in a private conversation is the appropriate course of action.
4. {COE} is based upon having games and fellow friends who are legit and not worrying about being PKed. When we talk about being legit, WE MEAN 100% LEGIT and no exceptions. Duplicates and hacked items are not allowed at any point. Also, no PKKing is allowed. If you find yourself in a situation where you were PKed, notify a higher ranked member, but do not retaliate.
5. (Diablo I only) Backing up one's character is allowed, but not by a trainer. All trainers shall be banned to all {COE} members. Other methods of backing up characters may be used (such as diablosaver). Loading of one's character is to be avoided at all costs except in the case of b.net lag or losing it in a game due to "dropping a game". If somebody steals your equipment, loading is not allowed due to the fact that duplicates will be created.
6. As a member of The {Crusaders of Excalibur}, you are expected to be loyal to us. That means you are not allowed to be in any other guild other than {COE}. Such an act would prove that your loyalties would have to be split, and wearing our tag would then mean nothing. If at any time you feel the need to leave {COE}, talk to someone of power in the guild and let them know that you are leaving. This will prevent any confusion when someone sees you under another tag.
7. We are a legit guild and also a non-pk guild. Killing any player on b.net is disrespectful and against our policies. Battling other players is done solely for the defense of one's own self, their friends, their property, or for anybody who asks for your help to protect them. Dueling is allowed when it is honorable and consented between the two who are dueling. Accidents do happen, and if one does kill another in such a way, a simple apology is all that's needed. Tournaments are also an exception to the PKing rule. A specific PK may not be "hunted down" unless given the permission by a High Lord or a Lord of the Round Table. It is very important to notify a High Lord or Lord of the Round Table before taking any action that may effect the image of the guild.
8. All members of The Crusaders of Excalibur are to wear a uniform with the tag {COE} or (COE) at the end of their name. No exception is allowed unless otherwise stated by a High Lord.
9. We are a "Knightly" guild and should represent that in our words and actions. The Crusaders of Excalibur hold dear to us such words as: Chivalry, Honor, Loyalty, Justice, Truth, Respect, and Valor. If you do not know the meanings to these words...look them up in the dictionary.
10. You may not impersonate a COE member at any time.
11. Any rude post on the forum will be deleted immediately and without any reason given.
12. Every new character made in DiabloII must end in COE, no exceptions. You may also find it easier to make a new account ending with (COE), but this is not required. Ranks will be reflected in profiles accordingly. (This rule applies to Diablo II only)
13. This guild, {COE}, was drawn up to be an RPG. In the channel, Roleplaying should be carried out whenever possible. Personal talking should (in normal circumstances) be held to whispers. A simple rule to remember while a member of the guild is to act as if you were living in the days of Camelot. This is a very loose rule and will not be strictly enforced.
